Before you explore our autumn collection, I’d love to share a little of the story behind Lavinia London.
When I started the shop several years ago, I wanted to create somewhere women could find clothes they felt happy wearing. Pieces with character, lovely details and a place in everyday life.
I’ve always felt that personal style doesn’t disappear as we get older. We still enjoy finding a beautiful jacket, discovering a colour that suits us or putting together an outfit that makes us feel like ourselves.
That simple feeling became the starting point for Lavinia London.
Finding Our Way, One Collection at a Time
In the beginning, there were so many decisions to make and so much to learn. Choosing what belonged in the shop meant thinking carefully about the woman who might wear it.
Would she reach for it on a quiet afternoon out? Wear it to meet a friend for lunch? Make it her own with a favourite scarf or a much loved pair of boots?
Over the years, those everyday moments have stayed at the heart of how I choose our collections.
And to everyone who has placed an order, written a kind message or returned to browse again: thank you. You’ve helped turn my idea into something I’ve been proud to spend these years building.
A New Chapter in My Life
Now, I’ve reached the decision to retire and bring my time running Lavinia London to a close.
It’s a decision that comes with mixed emotions. I’m looking forward to having more time for myself and the people I love, but I’ll miss choosing the next collection and sharing it with you.
